Morningstar's Jewelers verifies the authenticity of each and every item through a multi-point process, and if any items do not fit our rigorous quality standards, we don’t accept them. All of our jewelry and watches are bought or consigned from individuals who visit our retail location. Being in the pawnbroker business 60 years has allowed us to acquire all sorts of hard to find new and vintage jewelry & watches.

We do sell several accessories, we don’t carry parts or extra links as part of our online inventory. However, we are happy to assist you in-store with our master jeweler.
For purchases over $1,000 USD our packages ship insured with FedEx - Parcel Pro. Everything else ships with USPS.
We cannot deliver to P.O. Boxes, or to APO/FPO addresses.

We do our own research. We gather from multiple sources of data from Ebay auctions, forum sales, and our own 60 years of transactional data to get a real-time pulse on the secondhand watch market. Our appraisal system is also linked to thousands of pawnbrokers within the US to match what others are paying. We do this in order to determine the fairest price for any given watch, in real-time.

Yes. We can change your delivery address before your jewelry or watch ships, but we’ll need to get the new address approved by our third-party fraud checking service. This may significantly cause an increased delay with your shipment while the process to verify the new address completes.
For domestic customers, we offer free, insured shipping through USPS & FedEx. Watches generally ship within 5 to 7 business days after your order is processed. We can ship your watch to whatever address you designate, but you must be able to sign for the package. For international customers, We do not currently ship to international buyers.
Once we capture payment, an order generally ships to you within 5 to 7 business days or sooner depending on shipping method chosen. This gives us time to run the merchandise through our quality control process. If you need it sooner than that, let us know and we can work with you.

We use Insured FedEx - Parcel Pro for purchases over $1,000 USD. USPS is used for everything else.
When you accept our offer, we’ll email you a shipping label with instructions on how to pack your watch to send to us. Labels are emailed to you within one business day after you accept our offer for your watch.
We hope this never happens, but if it does, your watch is fully insured by us while it’s in transit (as long as you follow our shipping instructions). We’ll work with you during the claims process to make sure you are fully compensated for the material loss.
If Morningstar's Jewelers is purchasing your timepiece for over 5,000 USD we may include a Shipment Receipt. We insure our packages through a third party shipping provider named Parcel Pro, and they are responsible for the insured value of a watch during transit. The amount indicated on the form that comes with a shipping label is 5,000.00 USD because that is the maximum amount that the third party will insure a package. Parcel Pro has insured all watches for the purchase price.
When you are ready to ship your package, either schedule a pick up or take the package to an authorized FedEx shipping facility. You may schedule a pick up by calling 1.800.463.3339; notify the FedEx representative that you have a pre-paid FedEx package with a pre-paid and pre-attached shipping label. Do not drop your package off at a drop box as insurance does not cover unmanned drop-off facilities. For security purposes, do not disclose the contents or value of this shipment when tendering your package to a FedEx Store location.

You have 7 days from the date of shipment to request an RMA, and 14 days after the date of shipment to get the watch back to us.
Absolutely. You are required to return everything that came in the original shipment, including: box, papers, manual, straps, accessories, etc. Otherwise a full refund will not be guaranteed.
We do not offer free return labels. Customers are responsible to return all merchandise and items back to us. As long as you follow the steps laid out in our Return Policy we’ll cover everything else. Just remember: get an RMA from us first within 7 days of shipment.

No. For watches offer 1 year warranty covered by Morningstar's Jewelers. Our 1 year warranty does not cover jewelry, only watches.
This varies, International shoppers are required to pay customs charges, as well as any associated import tax, VAT, or duties. These additional fees will vary according to country. We will direct international buyers to our eBay store to purchase the item there instead. International orders can then be handled with eBays international shipping program.
Our fine jewelry & watches are pre-owned, which means that not all sellers are able to provide the original box or papers. If they are available, the original packaging and paperwork will be mentioned in the item description and shipped with your order.

Absolutely not. The more the merrier but our quote form only allows you to enter 1 watch at a time. If you have a large number of watches to sell, please contact us directly to make arrangements.
If you can’t find your watch brand on our Accepted Brands list, then most likely it is not a brand we are currently purchasing. Because of the nature of the secondhand market, we have limits on what brands we focus on.
Currently, we do not accept sellers outside of the United States.
If you don’t like the offer we made you, simply notify us and we can possibly work something out. Otherwise no further actions are required from you.
When you accept our offer, we’ll email you pre-paid FedEx shipping label, along with instructions on how to pack your watch to send to us.
Once you ship your watch, it will come to our retail location for review. An associate will be in constant contact with you during the inspection and authentication quality check, just to keep you in the loop. If your watch is vintage and needs an abundant amount of parts, we may return your timepiece to you. Also if we determine that your watch is a replica(counterfeit), we’ll inform you of the cost to return it back to you and you will be expected to pay for the shipping.
We are required by Florida state law to collect this information in order to maintain our license. This information is used to check against stolen property. Once we receive your watch, we must have this information in order to proceed with purchasing your watch.
